So, at this url: http://twitpic.com/2paihn
Twitpic ID: 2paihn
And the actual image URL: http://s3.amazonaws.com/twitpic/photos/large/163413275.jpg?AWSAccessKeyId=0ZRYP5X5F6FSMBCCSE82&Expires=1284740401&Signature=6lgT6ruyyUDDjLOB7d42XABoCL
I tried to get the integer id via api (i.e. 163413275) and replace it with the s3.amazon.com url, but this seems to work only for a while. Most of the time I get a "denied access" message when I request an image posted on Amazon.
Do you know about another hack to do this?
Use http://twitpic.com/show/thumb/<imageid>to get a thumbnail.
http://twitpic.com/show/thumb/<imageid>
This is a direct link to the image: http://twitpic.com/show/full/2paihn You can use it in the img tag or link it. It will send an amazon S3 URL with a new expiration date and signature so that anyone you show this will not receive an access denied message.
