Does Rails Help Learn PHP Zend Framework

I'm starting to learn the Zend Framework, and it reminds me when I swore with Rails again. Does Rails know help with a better understanding of Zend and the entire architecture of controllers, models, views? Zend feels to me like the new PHP, Rails style.

There are many people who talk about a steep learning curve, so I thought that Rails really influenced Zend, I could learn a little Rails and then go back to Zend. Did you find that learning Rails is a better introduction to the Zend world?
