How to get static range for x axis (range axis) in JFreechart

I am using Jfreechart in one of my projects. I have a particular problem with a line chart. On the X axis, we have time as a unit. I want to have a static range that allows me to talk for 300 seconds, after which it should switch to auto-correction mode. How to do it.

domainAxis = plot.getDomainAxis();
domainAxis.setRange(0,300);
