Multiple MPMoviePlayerControllers on iOS 3.2 / 4.0

Question

The question is, can I have two instances of MPMoviePlayerController at the same time in one UIViewController?

I am trying to create a smooth transition between two movies in the iPad application, but when I create a second MPMoviePlayerController, playback of the first one will stop and cannot be resumed. I did not find any restrictions on having multiple MPMoviePlayerControllers in the Apple documentation.

PS Any other ideas for a smooth transition between films will also be appreciated.
