I have a windows service that is highly multithreaded. Each thread invokes different WCF service methods. After about a while, all the calls that I make for the WCF service time out:
Request timeout attempt to send after 00:10:00. Increase the timeout value of the transmitted call. Request or increase the SendTimeout value for the binding. the time allotted for this operation may have been part of a longer timeout
As you can see, the timeout is 10 minutes, I also tried this:
serviceThrottling maxConcurrentCalls="200" maxConcurrentInstances="200" maxConcurrentSessions="200"/>
But it did not help.
I checked w3wp.exe using Process Explorer, but I could not find anything that could tell me anywhere. All connections that I make to the web service are closed.
Does anyone have any ideas how to fix this problem? I would like to know if the calls are processed correctly, but there are too many of them, so they start the countdown or do they hang there, just wait?
How can I check this? I thought the server was just overloaded, but only the processor was over 50% and there was no memory.
