SQL tuning in Oracle

Question

Is there any article / link where I can find SQL tuning examples (Oracle). It would be great if this were explained with an example. I need something like an existing request, statstics, a plan, and then a proposed request / recommendation and a new plan.

I found a couple of really good google links:

Setting up Sql is not easy, because it depends on many factors. There is no universal method. Sometimes just add a pointer or a hint, sometimes you need to change the structure.
