JQuery grid with detailed tables

I have a grid that currently uses Telerik grids, I would like to convert it to using jQuery with JSON. I would like to know what is the best tool to use. FlexiGrid and jQgrid are at the top of my list, although I cannot find examples with FlexiGrid with nested tables (detailed tables), which is mandatory.

My question is, what is the best tool and is there good documentation?

You can find a demonstration of using Master / Detail grids with jqGrid here . You must select the left side of the Advanced tree, and then the Master part. You can find jqGrid documentation here . In my opinion, jqGrid is currently the best jQuery plugin for grids with many different features. It is being actively developed (see http://github.com/tonytomov/jqGrid and http://github.com/tonytomov/jqGrid/tree/dev ). Full source code is available.
