Custom DataGridView column requesting runtime design parameters

I played with some sample code that implements a datepicker column for a DataGridView.

Where I'm afraid is how to access development-time options correctly (thanks to Bradley Smith for the tip on overriding the Clone method) in CalendarEditingControl, where I want to set the format to DateFormat.

I presented the full sample below and see where I want to use DateFormat if you are just looking at the comment: // *********** I would like to set the format for the development time value provided in the DataGridViewCalendarColumn.DateFormat here * ******** ** //

thank

All you have to do is apply the property DateFormatto the column in the edit control. In the method, InitializeEditingControladd the following line:

ctl.Format = (OwningColumn as DataGridViewCalendarColumn).DateFormat;

That should do the trick.
