What happened to the head of the DOM level 3 event group?

In the 2006 version of the 3rd level DOM, there is the chapter "Event Groups", but not in the current version. What happened to this chapter? Was it intentionally deleted? It would be very helpful to have a (partially) ordered list of event handlers.

It was removed in 2006 , but I could not find a public record of this decision, any www-dom mailing list , as well as the web page the wiki . You may ask on the mailing list, perhaps the editors remember the rationale.
