I just found out about Visual Studio LightSwitch, the new RAD tool for Microsoft Silverlight.
Does this mean the same place as WCF RIA services?
Is WCF RIA dead?
I'm reading, and it seems that LightSwitch is actually building on top of the RIA. I saw the following in a review on The Register -
Database connectivity and user authentication at LightSwitch uses WCF RIA Services, Microsoft's web service for Silverlight, although developers are protected from Details. This means a mid-tier server on the Microsoft IIS Web site.
