Smart GWT or ext GWT or Vaadin for Google app?

Question

I have my end in the google engine. Now I need a RIA. What should be my option? Smart GWT? Ext GWT? or vaadin?

or if any of you know any other RIA interface technique other than JSF and Flex, pls let me know.

I have the same need: evaluating SmartGWT and Vaadin for an RIA app hosted on GAE.

Comparing them so far, I think that SmartGWT is really faster and richer, because all GUI logic is compiled into javascript, and they request the server side very lazily, only if the client needs new data that was not loaded for the browser before + some flexible caching materials etc. And richer than SmartGWT sends more widgets.

But you must implement all server-side things yourself (or buy a license), which is the main drawback, since you need to redefine your own DataSource protocols, which are based on most elements of the gui-data binding.

Another drawback is that loading the first page takes a lot of time, as there are a lot of static resources and compiled javascript.
