I know that to edit SSIS packages you need the same version of BIDS or Visual Studio. With Visual Studio 2010, are there any changes to the ability to open old SSIS packages, or do I need VS2005 and VS2008 installed next to my VS2010 installation?
TIA J
VS2010 will not work with SSIS VS2005 and VS2008 packages. You should still use the appropriate VS versions for your development. You can have every version of VS installed on your system.
