I have an Activity with two views created in ViewFlipper. One view is a layout with GLSurfaceView and several other widgets, the other is just a layout with TextView and VideoView. When I click on something in GLSurfaceView, the ViewFlipper swaps so that the video can play. In this screenshot, you can see a simple GLSurfaceView displaying a map on the left. On the right is what it looks like after ViewFlipper flipped over and started playing the video.
The empty transparent area where GLSurfaceView is displayed is where the video should be. I hear him playing through the speaker, and the chart is moving forward, so I know that he is playing.
