Sql Server Interview Question: which function you can NOT call from a stored procedure or a user-defined function (table or scalar)

In a recent interview, I was asked to name a built-in function (s) that cannot be called from a stored procedure or a user-defined function (both scalar and table). I did not know the answer to the question and gave the general "I do not know, but I would like to know."

It turns out, after a little research, that I am no closer to the answer than when I was asked in an interview, and now I wonder if this was a trick.

Is this a trick or is there a real answer?

Thank.
