Boost :: interprocess shared memory and R bigmemory

Question

I have a server-side client system where the server is a vC ++ program and the client is in R. Can I use shared memory between the two? with boost :: interprocess at the end of vC ++ and R bigmemory at the end of R?

server and client are on the same PC
