Artificial intelligence curriculum helps in the idea and its impact on a later master's degree

Question

I am a computer science student. I want to do an AI project for the 4th year with two other students. (This is a 5-year degree at my university, so I can do the same project for two years in a row if I want). Our knowledge in the field of AI is very simple at the moment, since we will specialize in this in the next two years, so it will probably be difficult to achieve a very complex idea. We do not expect exploration of new untouched soils, so the more resources, the better.

I'm interested in ideas that can benefit people, and not just apply algorithms and methods. I want to make masters after graduation, but I'm not sure in which area. I would like to make a medical application or project that can be used for people with disabilities. Some projects that have already been conducted at the university included a breast cancer recognition project and teaching sign language to the deaf.

I am wondering:

1) what other ideas can we use in these areas?

2) how much will my choice of graduation project affect my application for a master's degree?

3) Is the expert stock price forecasting system too advanced for us?

Are there any teachers at your university who work in bioinformatics ? If so, talk to them and see if they give you a suitable project idea that excites you. If you decide to go this route, try enrolling in the Intro for Bioinformatics course, as this will help you familiarize yourself with the field and simplify the task.
