Netbeans Include Path Function

Question

Did anyone know what the path inclusion function in NetBeans is?

I am using netbeans 9.6.1

when we create a new project, there will be two parent directories: 1. Source files 2. Include path

I had no idea what the path included, can someone give an explanation about this?

These are folders that will be checked for code completion and tooltips. You can add folders by right-clicking on a project in the project navigator, selecting Propertiesand going to the sectionPHP Include Path
