Email header: sender versus x-sender

Question

If you want to " Send a letter on behalf of From " to someone else, should you use the header "Sender" or "x-sender", the header?

Outlook 2007 seems to only pay attention to the "Sender" header, if present.

On the other hand, there are those who believe that the heading "Sender" is outdated in favor of "x-sender".
