Go to matching parentheses in non java files in intellij

Question

In IntelliJ (version 9) in a java file, I can go to the corresponding bracket or brackets by pressing ctrl -] or ctrl - [ . However, for some reason this only works when I'm in a java file. How to find a suitable figure when I'm in some other file (for example, json file or html file)?
