Move all files of a specific file type using SVN

Question

I have a directory full of image files. I want to move all .jpg files to one directory up

$svn move *.jpg ../ 
$svn: Client error in parsing arguments

As you can see, this approach does not work.

If this is not possible, how can I move ALL files to the same directory?

SVN version 1.4.4 on OSX 10.5

To do this, you need a shell script, for example

ls *.jpg | while read i; do svn move "$i" ../; done

As far as I understand from manual , you cannot do this with pure svn. If you want to move / copy all files, you need to move / copy the directory.
