Jquery simplemodal plugin: a popup that scrolls from a page

Is there a “right” solution for the dialog to scroll using the scrollbar, and not be fixed from the center of the inner window?

There is a situation where the user may have too little permission to contain the dialog, in which case part of the dialog may be hidden. You may have the “OK” or “Confirmation” button in the hidden part, and then the pop-up window cannot be closed and not checked! Lock situation.

I tried changing css to code from fixed to absolute, and then scrolling through the dialog with the page: great! But ... Meanwhile, when doing this, opening another pop-up window, do not place it again in the center. Perhaps the solution is to reopen the dialog for each onOpen event.

Any help is appreciated.

The dialogue was recorded as fixed and as such is not easy to replace.

You can change the position to absolute, but all IE hacks will make it behave as fixed.

In SimpleModal 1.4.2, you can simply set fixed to false:

$('#myModal').modal({ fixed: false });

This worked for us in Chrome and IE up to IE8. (We do not support IE7.)
