Howto handle mailto: in android webview

I am trying to intercept mailto: links in an embedded webview in my application. What I have is working fine, except when the user clicks on the link, it is blurry when returning to the application. Here is what I do in my WebViewClient

If I create view.reload (), it fixes the problem, but is there a better way to fix it without losing bandwidth? I tried invalidate () but this did not work.
