Why does host dependent show 32bit dll as 64bit?

During some analysis, I had this situation on a 64-bit Windows 7 machine: I downloaded notepad.exe with dependencies, and it shows me the dependencies located on System32 as 64-bit! Is something a dependency bug or something else like a dependency redirection? Any idea on how to interpret the conclusion of a walking workmate?

The applications and libraries in the folder system32under Windows 7 are actually 64-bit binaries. The support system for 32-bit material is located at syswow64. It's like clicking "start" to turn off the computer :)

WoW64 (32- Windows 64- Windows)
