Visual studio FTP publish not closing connections?

I am publishing using Visual Studio 2010 FTP publishing and everything works fine. The problem is that the page I am posting allows only 6 connections from the same IP address. Since Visual Studio does not close the connection, these connections remain open, and I quickly change 6 connections and cannot load.

Does anyone know a solution for this other than using another FTP program?

I solved this by telling our web host to pounce on me if I was inactive for 1 minute. Thus, all connections created by VS will be terminated after 1 minute.
