How are shelves stored in the TfsVersionControl database?

I need to access a shelf that TFS and TF Sidekicks cannot access, and I'm trying to figure out how the data is stored in the database, so I can change the owner of the shelf.

Well, I found some information for you. Shelves are stored in workspaces in tbl_Workspace with type = 1.

The following SQL will show you all your shelves:

use TfsVersionControl;
select  * from tbl_workspace where type = 1

Once you find the shelves, you can try using the TFS Power Tools to work with it.
