Is there a solid .Net shell for the managed Win32 API?

Has anyone developed (both open source and commercially viable commercial offer) .Net implementation of Win32 Native Wifi API? Or does anyone know about this?

I worked for about an hour and a half on Google, MSDN, pinvoke.net and here, and found nothing. If I missed something obvious, I'm sorry!

We are in a short time, I know little about Wi-Fi, and I need to quickly start something. I can either cut the “n” paste from pinvoke.net or write a .Net wrapper class in C ++, but I would rather not waste time doing this if possible.

We need to constantly conduct a survey about the presence of a particular SSID; when he sees, immediately connect and tell the client who can then send some socket and / or SOAP messages, and then tell us when it is safe to disconnect. We also need to communicate the signal strength to the client ... he needs to make reasonable decisions about using Wi-Fi and other communication modes available to him. For the first iteration, this may be unsecured, but we will probably want to add the ability to specify a WEP key in the future.
