What is Oracle's lawsuit against Google for Android developers?

What does the Oracle vs Google lawsuit mean for Android developers? I know this is not a programming issue, but I cannot think of another forum where I can ask about it.

Technically speaking, Oracle goes limb with this. Android is actually not Java, it is Java → Dalvik converter. No one won the lawsuit against the converters, although no one, as far as I know, tried. It’s best to keep an eye on things on TechCrunch or some other technology-related press site.
