How to detect the presence of silence of a word / sound in a wav file using java?

Question

I am working on a speech recognition project, because part of it from the wav file wants to find the presence of silence or detect the presence of a word. If the word is found, then copy this word from beginning to end in a new wav file, so that the original wav file has 10 words, then the output is 10 files. The problem is finding silence or a word you want to suggest, how to implement this in java .. please suggest ..
