Trust in a network drive Visual Studio 2008 and .NET 4.0

Question

I am using Visual Studio 2008 on a PC that also installed .NET 4.0 to work with code that should be stored on a network drive.

The question is that .NET 4.0 overrides the security settings of .NET 3.5, how can I make VS2008 trust a network drive?

Platform 4.0 security settings do not override 3.5. There are independent policies that are separately evaluated. Thus, to get 2008 to trust the drive after installing 2010, it is nothing more than just getting the 2008 installation to trust the network drive. Here is a link that describes how to do this
