Vb6 portable compiler

Question

I heard about portable apps, I like to make some of my apps for mobile apps. Does anyone know if it is possible to make an application developed in portable vb6.

I plan to replace most of the controls with usercontrols, so most MS ActiveX controls are not required except runtime files.

any ideas?

[EDIT] When I mean portable, I mean noon for installation, and basically one exe or almost all the files needed by this application are in the same directory

Now, not to say that this is impossible, and I'm sure there are ways to get around it (perhaps a small small preliminary testing application that checks your main components of the application is registered before it starts). But right out of the box, no. My experience is that VB applications had to be installed using the installer.
