I am new to Magento and impressed with the MVC framework that supports it, making module development a well-thought out solution. I am a strong CakePHP developer.
I am working on a project that uses dropshipper for physical products. As a result, every 4 hours you need to analyze the feed, and products / categories change, as well as stock information. For this, CRON will be configured.
Additional requirements: For a successful order, the system must upload the CSV channel to Dropshipper via FTP with order information for distribution. Real-time stock checks, every hour CRON or search on the product page
I can think of two approaches:
Write everything initially in Magento. As a beginner, this will be a big learning curve, but is this the right decision?
Write a simple CakePHP application that runs as a shell. This will use the Magento API to control all dropshipper processes. This solution will be easier to deploy, but introduces an additional support system.
Does anyone have any advice regarding dropshipping in Magento?
