Rails Email Client

Question

I need my application to have a module with email features. This will have all the features of an email client. Each user will have an Inbox, Outbox, Sent Items, user folders, subfolders, etc. They should be able to send, receive, send, reply to emails. Is there any gem / plugin I can use for this? If there is an alternative to creating such integration with Google Apps, etc., then please suggest.

You can just use ActionMailer . Check out this guide to make sure it meets your requirements.
