Array of sockets

I had a quick question about how I will support connecting 1000 sockets. Im uses streams to start writing and reading streams.

However, when I pass the socket to a new thread, the thread will not exit after the exception. I wanted to know if the socket transfer would contain a stream because it is still connected.
