Control and domain maintenance formats, is there a template?

I am working on an application with a large domain - that is, Customers, SalesOrder, Suppliers, Products, Inventories, etc. - and found that WinForms data binding is too restrictive for what I need.

Is there a useful design pattern for customizing form filling and updating baseline data?
