How to integrate CMS into an existing Rails site

One of the problems that I see again and again is a company with an existing website that wants to integrate a content management system. Are there standard approaches / methods for this that store an existing website, but allow you to allow specific pages or pieces of content using the CMS?

For example, let's say you have a Rails website that currently has hardcoded jobs and press release pages about us, as well as a new user on the home page. You want to move these pages to CMS (for example, Radiant) when reusing the current site layout. In other words, if I make changes to the site title in app / views / layouts / application.html.haml, it should also be reflected in the managed CMS pages. How are you doing efficiently by letting CMS, for example, Radiant, manage specific pages on your existing website?
