I want to run a django application on a handheld device. It will have to start Python (obviously) and will write its data to the SQLite database.
Are there any tablets that will let me do this? In particular, if I bought an Android tablet, would I have to / be able to install linux instead, or could I run it under Android?
If you want Linux, Meego is probably the best choice. There is no hardware yet, but there is equipment for the predecessor Maemo .
