Sync Framework 2.0 Error: The specified change tracking operation is not supported

I am new to MS Sync and have been banging my head on the wall for four hours to no avail. I'm just trying to synchronize my databases (one "main" SQL Server 2008 with SQL Server CE, client) using

Dim syncAgent As DataCacheSyncAgent = New DataCacheSyncAgent()
Dim syncStats As Microsoft.Synchronization.Data.SyncStatistics = syncAgent.Synchronize()

It works fine in Visual Studio 2010 and always manages to synchronize, but now when I try to implement it on my client computers, I always get the error:

The specified change tracking operation is not supported. To perform this operation on the table, disable change tracking in the table and enable change tracking.

I tried everything that I can think of to no avail, but, as I said, I am new to the synchronization framework and have not found much help on Google. I tried disabling change tracking and returning (on the server through SQL Mgmt Studio), but that didn't work either. Perhaps this meant that I should disable it and return to the client? How can I do this programmatically?
