Custom Logging Rules in Ruby

What are the best practices for managing user logging in Ruby? Should I be a monkeypatching logger to do what I want? Or extends from it? Or delegation? Which ruby ​​way? I'm sick of it because of this; I would like to make something cleaner and ideally more elegant.

In my experience, log4r is no more popular (and I don’t know why these days I can’t access the log4r homepage). Instead, logging is much better.
