Android: cannot see log output

I am trying to register some text using Log.v or Log.e, but I do not see the text in the eclipse console console.

What am I missing? thank!

Log output does not go to the eclipse console. You need to either use the perspective DDMSor open a view LogCatfrom Window->Show View->Other->Android->LogCat, for example, it Log.d("message","false")will be displayed in LogCat, as this enter image description here

The text is not displayed on the console, it is shown on the logarithm, which by default is not displayed. To enable it:

However, the Eclipse logarithm does not work. Sometimes it falls for no apparent reason. You should use DDMS, which can be integrated into the Eclipse GUI and work very well.
