Android Application Compatibility

I am creating an application under versions 1.6, 2.1 and 2.2 for Android, and it works. I would like to know when I publish it, which is better:

  • Create under 1.6 and thus it will be compatible with the newer version of Android.

or

  • Create under 2.2 and set "Target SDK version" to 8 and "Min SDK Version" to 4

thank

If you do not use anything that is characteristic of 2.1 or 2.2, there is no difference. If, for example, you use the SD card install function in 2.2, you must use the Target SDK and min SDK options.

2.2 Min SDK Version. :

" , ( minSdkVersion), ."

1.6 20%.
