Equivalent of [[NSWorkspace sharedWorkspace] runningApplications] for iphone / iOS?

I’ve been browsing Apple’s documentation for some time, but haven’t found the equivalent of the iOS object sharedWorkspacethat can be obtained from NSWorkspacewithin AppKit. Basically, I just need a method runningApplications.

Can someone point me in the right direction?

There is no such method or analogue. This information is “out of bounds” for iOS.
