What is the Java equivalent of the .NET Enterprise Library?

I am a .NET guy, but was recently put into a Java project. Is there a Java equivalent of the .NET Enterprise Library? In particular, I need a configuration manager, a data access assistant (parameterization and disinfection), and possibly a logger.

What are the hot Java development tools?

Sounds like the kind of horizontal tools that Apache Commons provides . They exist for many years, in some cases they remain useful today (for example, Commons Lang , Commons Configuration ), in another case they are now obsolete and replaced with better things ( Google Guava Collections Collections , Commons SLF4J Entry ).

For simplified data access such as iBatis or Spring JDBC are good starting points.
