I have an application that communicates with a web server through REST. It works fine on the phone when connected via WiFi, but does not work correctly when on 3G.
Not everything stops working. I can still use some functions, but for some reason some calls to rest return "" (empty answer) very quickly. Once again, when I'm on WiFi, everything works fine.
Just to clarify: 1. I have a data plan :) 2. The server to which I connect is accessible from the Internet.
Any thoughts?
Thanks Ralph

Just change the access point names from "GPRS / WAP" to "Internet" ... This will work fine. Now I can access all applications with 3G.
