Using various site.master files for themes

has different methods of working with .master sites. right now I have a menu system and different links and styles based on different ".master" files on asp.net-mvc. another developer thought this was a weird approach, and I wanted to get some thoughts from the community.

The most flexible way of MVC "themes" seems to provide your own ViewEngine ... it's not as complicated as it seems ... essentially you tell ViewEngine to look in the specified folders for main pages and views. or revert to the default Views folder for base implementations.

MVC : ASP.NET MVC Themed View Engine... , .

Returning to MVC. Since this is a reasonable and fairly common technique in ASP.NET, in general, if it meets your needs, then there is no reason not to use it.
