Which SCM can conveniently handle 90,000 files

I have a folder containing the whitelabel-esque system; there are more than 90,000 files.

It is currently stored in SVN, and we just check the subfolders as necessary.

Will mercury or other SCM cope with the batch being checked immediately without her death when trying to commit.

Perforce and PureCM and the fastest version control tools for validation and verification. I would be wary of Perforce if you are planning a fork. Perforce will be VERY slow branching out this number of files. PureCM will handle this penalty.
