How to avoid adding jsession id in url?

We have a Spring, JSF app in Skill-Guru

Problem:

The user opens the site by visiting the URL or by directly typing www.skill-guru.com in the url. Now, when the user first clicks on any link, the jsession identifier is added to the URL. e.g. http://www.skill-guru.com/test/62/pmp-certification-practice-test;jsessionid=3FBFDD1C6C8A9A2FC4FE7C282A60DE4D

After clicking on any link or URL, this session ID will not be added. But this id is added to google webmaster links, users who copy the link copy with the jession id.

I do not want the jsession id added to the url.

Any help is appreciated.
