What does glibc detect ... httpd: double free or corruption?

I asked this question on serverfault.com, which, as suggested, is a more suitable place for it - https://serverfault.com/questions/169829/what-does-glibc-detected-httpd-double-free-or-corruption -mean

I have an EC2 server that is used to handle image downloads. I have flash swf that handles uploading to the server from my local disk - when uploading about 130 images (about 650 MB in total) I received the following error in the server log file after the 45th image.

* glibc detected * / usr / sbin / httpd: double free or corrupt (! prev): 0x85a6b990 ***

What does this error mean?

The server stops responding, so I will restart it. Where should I start looking for the cause of this problem?

thank

This means your web server crashed. Disabling bad hardware is an error inside the Apache server or the module you downloaded (for example, mod_php).

Try upgrading to a newer version if available. If this fails, open the error report with the accompanying Apache.
