I'm already very confused when I type this stream. Please forgive me if my request is too difficult to understand.
I have an existing real estate site that I intend to move 100% in WordPress. An existing site has one backend for listings and another blog section for reviews.
You can probably understand why I decided to make the transition to a full site with WordPress. Maintaining both ends of the site is tedious and cumbersome.
I have read and understood custom post types and custom taxonomies and how they work. I am very happy about their implementation. However, there is some content that is difficult for me to organize.
* An existing database table of about 4,000 Condominium Projects
Each entry in the Condominiums table contains some “bio-data”, such as Year Completed, Number of units, Amenities, Amenities, etc.
Currently, in every listing on my site there is an ajax request that requests information from this table on request.
On the new site, I intend to have a link to the corresponding condominium in each property list. This link should display information about a particular condo and display the “results” of the respective listings.
In addition, some villas have long article reviews made for them. On my current site, these reviews appear in the blog section. Separates at all.
So here is my question.
How to put everything together. Perhaps a duplicate? Taxonomy and mail for each condo? This will mean over 3,000 unique entries. Wouldn't that be "redundant"?
