Magazine Dump for Visually Attractive Document Tool for Subversion?

I’m considering moving from Subversion to Mercurial with several repositories, the history of changes of which I don’t need in my daily work, but which would be nice to keep in some document - as evidence of activity for clients, as a quick way to see something without need copy to backups etc.

I am thinking of a program that creates an HTML, PDF, or OpenOffice document that shows the change history in a visually appealing way, and if possible, differs from it.

Does anyone know if such a tool exists for Windows or Linux?

Due to lack of time, I am looking for a ready-made solution: I would prefer it when it comes to accepting an answer. However, general recommendations on how to include output svn login such a document are also welcome.

It is preferable to use Open Source; a low-cost commercial tool may be available.

WebSvn creates a nice view of the HTML repository and logs with diff functionality. I do not think that there is an option to export documents.

Understanding your preference for a ready-made solution, I would do it if it occurred to me:

  • Perl script that can accept redirection output svn log(e.g., ~/Scripts/svn-log-format.pl < svn log)
  • Script TeX
  • TeX , PDF .

svn log , Perl, , - , , . , , .
