Ruby markup parser for custom markup language

I am looking for a Ruby markup parser (or helper) to convert a custom markup language to HTML. Something like Decoda in the PHP world (see $ code-> addMarkup () Function). Is there a good tool in the Ruby world?

I am pleased to receive education in a different way, but I'm afraid I do not think that such a thing exists - someone would need a parser (or a parser, perhaps) for several unspecified future markup languages. This probably did not occur very often. Or ever.

However, if your language is fairly regular, I don’t see that it will be too big a task to create your own analyzer using available tools.

In some places you can run:

bluecloth for markdown http://deveiate.org/projects/BlueCloth

personally, I like textiles.
